Inventory control for restaurants: days of cover, transfers and reorders; approved by your team

RoleAxis reads your stock, sales and purchasing data per product and per location, works out how many days of cover each location has, and drafts the cheapest correct move: an internal transfer from a location that has too much before a new purchase, or a purchase order picked on price and lead time together. Your inventory lead approves; the transfer or the request for quotation is then created in your system.

Nothing executes without approval.

What it does

  • Stock & reorder

Days of cover per product per location; an internal transfer drafted before a new purchase.

    Executes on approval
  • Purchase-order drafting

Draft POs picked on price and lead time together; on approval the RFQ is created in your ERP. Large orders route to owner sign-off.

    Executes on approval
  • Supplier comparison & switch

Compare suppliers on real price and lead time; never an invented quality score. A recommendation your buyer acts on.

    Recommends
  • Price variance

Sustained supplier price creep against your actual purchase history.

    Recommends
  • Late delivery

Open POs whose expected date has passed, with the real days late.

    Recommends

“Executes on approval” writes to your system once approved; “Recommends” records the decision for your team to act on; “Planned” is not built and does not run.

How approval works here

A transfer or purchase order is a draft with the product, quantity, source and destination, and the evidence (days of cover, the price and lead time compared). Any approver can approve a transfer. A purchase order of 20,000 SAR or more waits for an owner. If a product or location cannot be matched unambiguously in your system, the approval is recorded and the audit log says what could not be resolved, nothing half-right is created.

Connector note

Live on Odoo: the transfer is created as a draft internal picking and the purchase order as a draft RFQ, both for your team to confirm inside Odoo. Other ERPs are on the roadmap, not built.

Questions

Does it move stock or place orders on its own?

No. It drafts. A person approves. Only then is a draft transfer or draft RFQ created in your system; still yours to confirm there.

We have multiple locations with different stock. Does it handle that?

Yes: days of cover is computed per product per location, and a transfer between locations is drafted before a new purchase is.

Does it understand recipes?

Where your system has bills of materials configured, it explodes finished-product sales into ingredient consumption before judging cover. See the recipe/BOM page. It is a recommendation, not a write.
