F&B stock control that reads the recipe, not just the shelf
A restaurant does not sell flour; it sells bread. RoleAxis reads your bills of materials where they are configured, explodes finished-product sales into ingredient consumption, and only then judges how many days of cover each ingredient has. The result is a recommendation with the working shown, which products, which recipes, which ingredient runs out first, for your inventory lead to act on. It does not write to your system.
Nothing executes without approval.
What it does
- RecommendsRecipe / BOM explosion
Finished-product sales exploded into ingredient consumption before judging cover. Only where bills of materials exist in your system; otherwise it says 'no recipes' rather than guessing.
- Executes on approvalStock & reorder
Days of cover per ingredient per location; a transfer drafted before a purchase.
- RecommendsCatalog & data quality
Duplicate barcodes, missing SKU or category, products priced below recorded cost, connector sync failures: flagged, never merged or bulk-edited.
- Executes on approvalPurchase-order drafting
When the exploded demand says an ingredient will run out, the reorder is drafted and, on approval, created as an RFQ.
“Executes on approval” writes to your system once approved; “Recommends” records the decision for your team to act on; “Planned” is not built and does not run.
How approval works here
The explosion itself is a recommendation: approving it records that your team agreed with the analysis and nothing is written. Where it leads to a transfer or a purchase order, those are separate drafts with their own approval, and a purchase order of 20,000 SAR or more waits for an owner.
Connector note
Reads bills of materials from Odoo today (mrp.bom). If your recipes live elsewhere, this skill has nothing to read and says so.
- Finding
- Lamb kabsa (large) sales imply 48 kg of rice a day; 6 days of cover left
- Amount
- Recommendation; no riyal value claimed
- Decision
- Inventory lead approves the analysis; reorder drafted separately
- Result
- Approval recorded in the audit log; the reorder becomes its own draft
Questions
Our recipes are in a spreadsheet, not the ERP. Does this work?
Not today. The explosion reads bills of materials from your connected system. Without them the skill reports 'no recipes'; it does not import spreadsheets.
Does it flag products priced below cost?
Yes, as part of the catalog & data quality skill: a product whose sale price is below its recorded cost is flagged with the gap. It is a recommendation; nobody's price is changed.
Will it merge duplicate products it finds?
Never. Duplicates and missing attributes are flagged for a person. Merging and bulk changes to master data are on the blocked list.
